A new journey!

May 10, 2014

It’s been months since I’ve posted here and of course, you know it’s because I failed to follow through with my commitment to my goals. I’m back on track and wanted to share with you what I’ve been up to.

A few weeks ago I saw a message to join a Spring Detox event. I was intrigued and contacted Mikel Ann Hall who had posted the message. The main reason for wanting information was that I was struggling with maintaining good eating habits and really not knowing what to prepare or how to prepare my food. I had continued with my USANA™  Nutrimeal shakes and supplements but I wasn’t seeing the results I wanted to see. I was also struggling with some physical pain which was keeping me from doing the things I wanted to do. I felt tired and lacked motivation.

I followed the instructions for the Spring Detox, loved the material and recipes  I received and went into it 100%. I absolutely loved it! I loved what I was eating/drinking. I enjoyed learning about the new ingredients and products I was introduced to. I felt better just a few days into it. I was sleeping through the night and felt energized in the morning. I started to exercise on a regular basis and felt great!

I haven’t lost the weight I set as my goal, but I have lost inches and gained a great deal of motivation. I also found that I wanted to learn more about the ingredients and foods I had been introduced to. Many of you have seen the smoothies and shakes I have posted on Facebook. They are  different because I’m not just using USANA™ Nutrimeal and USANA™ Fibergy®, but adding ingredients to my shakes that support my immune system and help me with the symptoms I was experiencing.

I’m not eating 100% organic, but working at it. I will say, that I’m feeling much better making the changes I have made.

As I said, I found I wanted to learn more, I was so intrigued. So after a conversation with Mikel Ann Hall and Cindy Nunnery I decided to follow their lead and enrolled in a Health Coach training program.  My course begins on May 12th and I am so excited about this journey!

I look forward to sharing my journey with you and I also look forward to speaking with you if you have any questions about why I decided to become a Health Coach. Please feel free to contact me directly my email: dorazdanis@comcast.net or cell: 610-888-2557.

New Year, New Goal, New Me!

December 31

As 2013 comes to an end, I’m feeling so grateful for all the blessings I have enjoyed and I look forward to all that is in store for me in the new year.

I am entering the new year with a different mindset, one of reaching a goal that I have not been totally committed to in the past, but today I am 100% committed to succeed.

RESET has been in my life for many years and today I find all the USANA foods delicious and fill my body with healthy goodness. I have made many excuses about why I haven’t been successful with my weight goal, but all those excuses have been exposed and they have been thrown away. Something happened to me, it’s difficult to explain, all I can say is that I became sick and tired of feeling sick and tired and made the decision to make a change.

Exercise, was a foreign word to me, but today I’m actually enjoying exercise. I can visualize what I will gain by keeping my word to myself and working through the pain of being so out of shape.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been so encouraging and supportive as I move forward with my weight management goal. I appreciate all your messages.

Wishing you a wonderful new year and may all your dreams come true!

Your Compliments Have Encouraged Me

December 21

Today, I posted a new profile photo on my Facebook page to show my new haircut. Just a simple action of updating a profile photo, right? Well, to my surprise, I received so many heartfelt compliments.  I was very flattered.

Facebook is strange. We share what we’re doing, what we’re eating, what we’re wearing or where we’re shopping, jokes, political messages, religious messages and sometimes, things we shouldn’t make public but we do it anyway. I am one of those people who really enjoys Facebook. But, what I never expected was the impact this photo posting did to me and what it did, was encourage me to continue doing what I’m doing. I felt the honest to goodness urge to move forward toward my weight loss goal and achieve what I have committed to do. I’m taking better care of myself and I feel proud of myself. I have already reached my short term goal and I’m working at my long term goal a day at a time. The compliments were wonderful and I accept them graciously.
